★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the closest you'll get to real Indonesian food & Padang Satay. I'll keep it simple, their food is like back home.
Suggest to try - lala curry, Satay ayam, The big Ikan curry "grouper/snapper fish", and their ayam gorengs "tastes like kampung ayam"
Nearby you can buy fresh ingredients, like big Daun Kunings and fresh coconut milk for very cheap.
Watch out for the roads tho, parking is tricky.
You might not like the place, but I guarantee you'll love the food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good place and food. Only lacking one is that the owner forbids us from eating the food before 7.20pm because they are fasting and reasoned that we should 'respect' them. This is 2022, not the old age, I dont know why they open the restaurant if they are gonna forbid customer from eating there. Props to the satay vendor for talking to the owner on our behalf.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Authentic minang cuisine taxi driver he introduced this restaurant to me, he told me he has been eating here for more then 30 or more years. Family owned third generation according to him. This is a great place. Now I know where to get authentic traditional Malay food the real stuff. Not made up stuff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ food tastes like Indonesian's, although not very Padang-ish. they serve various menu and nasi campur (prasmanan)
- rendang
meat is good, not so rubbery. a bit sweet and not spicy
- perkedel kentang
tastes just like the one from Indonesia's restoran Padang. not divine, but enough to ease your craving for Indonesian food

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good restaurant to have nasi padang, their satay padang is also sedap! its affordable and they have much variety for foods (lauk) and beverages if u craving for Teh Pucuk or Teh botol (indonesian beverages). However, the place is not neat (kedai makan runcit), tight space (if you dont have seat u cant dine in cuz its only few seats available, avoid going on lunch time bc always full) just beside the road and don’t have adequate parking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably my new favorite place for nasi padang. Stumbled upon this place when another nasi padang restaurant nearby was closed.
The lunch was simply devine. I had a juicy fried chicken coated with red chili, curry tendon and a thick omelette with lemon ice drink. All these for just RM17.50.
