The Chicken Rice stall operated by Kak Imah in this coffee shop is worth mentioning. She always greets her customers warmly. The chicken rice portion is bigger compared to others, the serving is generously accompanied by very nice ginger sauce and chili sauce. The chicken meat is firm, tender and juicy. The same chicken rice stall sells yong tau foo too, and are just as tasty.

First time here. Went for the chicken rice stall and was surprise its almost sold old, when its not even 1pm!! Order char siew and their roast pork, which portion is good for another plate or so. The char siew was very nice, same goes to the siew yoke.. and the portion is very generous too very tasty. The staff are very polite ( a huge surprise, as you dont usually get this from coffeeshops ). Bought their kaya puff and char siew pau. The arrange the food neatly and pack it nicely. Their service is very impressive.

There are food stalls here which opens during breakfast and lunch. I like the pork noodles soup which comes with ample meat and wanton mee in dry version; the noodles are springy ?? and char siu is homemade. The Sang Kee Cantonese yuen yeong and beef noodles is tasty. Update: The is a new stall which sells pan mee, yong tau foo, fried rice and fried noodles in the evening from Monday to Saturday. I like the thin pan mee soup and stuffed fu chuk.

Famed for the stall 'Tai Ba Sai' offering fried noodles ala Soo Kee style. The tall Hakka chef cooking since 1979, had returned from his sojourn in Japan sowing his wild oats. He was clearly a master of wok hei and struggled to teach his young apprentice grandson, who is now only allowed to clean the wok. The fried beef noodles (RM12) was served with fresh beef slices, young ginger and scallions in a thickened savoury egg sauce with a dash of Shaoxin wine, over a bed of freshly crispered rice noodles. Flavours were mild, not salty with well captured wok hei. Cantonese fried ying yong is at RM8. The day the geriatric chef known for his fried beef hor fun having a day off, opened up a window to try the Pork noodles by a young Hakka cook. However, she is no spring chicken (piggy), having been at it for over 10 years. The bowl was a very admirable effort that compares well with the stall at Sunsea. The liver and kidney were just cooked, not overdone but not HK style either, nevertheless satisfying. The pork balls were tasty with a salted fish hint (dried cuttlefish) as can be expected from Hakka cuisine. Sadly, it was factory made. The RM7.50 bowl was by far a generous serving compared to Sunsea 's popular offering. The bevy of cooks at various stalls here are amusing to say the least, with lots of banter like a HK soap opera in a Char Chan Teng. Conversations among the old folks centered around COVID-19 lockdown, unemployment and lamenting suicides among the despaired. The homemade barley drink was still an unbeatable RM1.40.

Looks is deceiving especially so with Tai Ba Sa one of the many food stalls within the premises which offers a variety of mouth watering hand crafted noodles. Food lovers especially those of us who travel to every nook and corner to savor it is yet another excellent destination for you to explore. This unassuming stall who is ran by a 60 something cook who in a way resembles his namesake, cooks up a storm that keeps you asking for more - tiger prawn or standard yee mee, super succulent beef flat noodles, tasty hokkien noodles, ubiquitous Cantonese mixed fried are some of his specialties. No regrets to try it out. Still awesome as before ??
