★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Come here around 5pm,not very crowded. Service is fast, ordered bak kut teh and pig stomach soup. Bak kut teh soup is quite flavourful despite the soup is not very thick, taste okay. Pig stomach soup taste okay.2 ppl bakkut teh without additional ingredients costs 28, consideres very pricey.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Popular BKT restaurant in Johor. Not quite the Klang herbal version, but more similar to the SG version without the pepper. While the Bak kut teh is a must try, the seasame oil chicken is to die for.
Starting with the BKT. The soup stock is good, slightly herbal and a bit more sweet then savory, though subtle. Nice pieces of chopped up pork ribs, although i feel the meat could have been boiled longer to be more tender. It's also came with pork liver and extra orders of bean curd skin, golden & butter mushroom. The butter mushroom though i could have done without.
As for the sesame oil chicken it is The Dish, served bubbling hot in a claypot (if only i could have uploaded the video). Cooked in a black sesame oil based sauce with ginger, it is full of flavor and goes well with a bowl of rice.
Next time i will also try the white wine chicken claypot.
It's located at an open air corner coffee shop with ample parking along the road.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fast table service, patient and friendly staff. Standard soup based BKT with various add on options at additional cost. Seasame oil chicken in Claypot also available. Blenched vegetable can be added as side dish. Overall nice taste at reasonable price and portion. Place no air conditioning, place simply renovated.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Bak Kut Teh restaurant at this location has been our family favourite for more than a decade now.ant. We have found the service to be good and fast, and it is indeed a comfort food to eat whenever we visit JB. Additionally, I would like to mention that the sesame oil chicken is also one of our favorites! This Bak Kut Teh is also a symbol for the fact that we are currently outside of Singapore, although we still have our references back from Singapore.
