★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sun Tuck Kee restaurant first started along Yau Tet Shin road, Ipoh new town. It is expanding its wings: a branch in Bercham already and now one more in Gunung Rapat. Here, the name is Sun Tack Kei restaurant which opened in Aug. 2018. The food menu is similar; quality and preparation of the food close to the original STK in new town. STK is famous for its variety of fried noodles, especially its wat tan hor and yue kuang hor. Try the boil-cooked octopus as a side dish. Don't you notice that there are many stalls specialising in fried noodles along Gunung Rapat road? Each finished product has their own unique taste and style of cooking. One day this road may be known as 'fried noodles' road or Jalan Char Kway Teow.
Latest: Sun Tuck Kee restaurant of Gunung Rapat has stopped operating probably in early 2020.
