A local wan tan mee stall operating under the stewardship of an aunty who serve one of the best wan tan mee and curry mee. Do watch out for their Big prawn dimpling serves together with the wan tan mee. Had the curry mee filled up with lor of spices! Not your typical Chinese styled curry mee. A very local and authentic "feel" of eating at this stall in Pudu.

Come here by chance, really surprise me. A fantastic old style stall. Uncommon drinks like “sea coconut” and “bamboo-sugar cane” can be found here. The wantan mee wantan got whole freaking prawn inside, portion is big, small is 1 noodle, and so on. Curry mee give you lots of fresh cockles, like around 15 of them. The fried stuff is so crunchy and don’t feel too oily. Everything is good. Bad thing is, if you come late, the weather damn hot.

Great and friendly aunty owner, love the texture of the noodles and the aroma of the curry gravy soup, definitely a must try travelling near KL area, freshly made BBQ Pork is very sweet and aromatic as well!

Curry noodles with a medley of ingredients - tiny cockles, pig skin, tofu croutons, long beans, beansprout, garnished with thai basil (not curry leaves or mint) from RM8.50 a bowl. The light and spicy curry without coconut santan lacked the depth and sweetness of Madras Lane curry soup. Even with calamansi, it was not possible to lift its taste any higher. Adding the fatty charsiew costs RM10 a bowl. Siukow dumplings (RM1.50) looked enticing but were made by foreign workers without hygiene SOP. Trying the wanton noodles(RM7.50) with whole prawn earns them an extra star. Noodles had too much bite, perhaps undercooked. The added roast pork (RM3.00) was a tad too salty, the char siew (not quite melt-in-your-mouth) is a tasty balance. The dark noodle gravy in pork lard and clear soup garnished generously with spring onions makes them second only to Ah Pak at Jalan Sahabat. Long live the octagenarian cooks! However, if you are Buddhist vegan (sek chai) during Malaysia's 9th Emperor God crisis, this is the only cook who will bend over backwards to serve you a bowl of noodles without pork lard and laden with choy sum. (Don't even try asking at Ah Pak's, unless you like being stared down and cursed by Uncle Roger's grandpa!) Tried a superb combination of wanton noodles with curry sauce, the fat char siew sings and had a standing ovation. Love actually when the santan-free girl meets porky lard boy, who cares what others may say...

Dry and soup char siew wan tan noodles with fried wan tan are still same but the noodles ? seem to be less tasty. As usual, quite crowded

Finally got to try the wtm for lunch today at Pudu 168, though I usually go to Good Friend wtm stall nearby. My humble taste buds tells me the char siew, wanton, sui kow all nice ……. noodle texture is commercial type ….. not springly, wtm sauce is ok, not too sweet or salty. Not exactly an appetizing place to eat though…. cramped and a few small table for one or two persons max.

Ambience 3/5 Food : Curry wanton noodle: 5/5 Normal ketchup wanton noodle: 4/5 Not a very clean environment (shop walkway eating), but acceptable for me I enjoyed the curry wanton very much, although it was high in santan and you can feel there is a lot of 'lemak' in it. But the flavour and smell was very nice and I really liked the fact they put a lot of green garnishing like long beans, brinjal, mint leaves and basil leaves ( I think its basil). The ketchup wanton noodle was very springy and tasty . I requested for non-pork , but I didn't get chicken but got a large fish cake instead..content not meaningful. The wanton however was surprisingly good and had a medium size Prawn in it. I had 2 of those for small size serving. Overall will come again.
