Delish! 魚片米粉 Sliced fish rice noodles. Remember to get the spicy sauce not the chili with soy sauce.

Selling variety of noodles. I ordered fish head noodles. It was unexpectedly good. The soup is sweet, the fish head not alot, but just nice, amazingly it tastes fresh. Highly recommend this restaurant as it deserved. The owner of the stall is friendly and kind. PS: the fish head skin is not crispy but it's fantastic

Great 月婆粉 "Yuet Po Fun" which literally means a noodle made by maids in charge of postpartum care. It is now enjoyed by most! Good variety of noodles to choose from and a good cup of coffee cost you RM1.80 (2018). Sadly, their food prices stopped me from coming again. If you're on the premise, you can find a local newspaper recommendation. At the time of that news report (dated 7th Aug 2016), it was selling at RM6. In July 2018, this cost you RM7 as shown in my photo. For Ipoh, 50 cent per year price adjustment is a lot and it'll soon be out of reach for most of the locals.

On days you may have enough of wantan mee, curry mee, chee cheong fun, fried kuey teow, etc. for breakfast. For a refreshing change, why not try thick rice noodles served in post-partum soup? A specialty of Auntie Fei Sow restaurant (肥嫂月婆粉). Post-partum soup refers to heavy broth of ginger, pork offals and rice wine. A Chinese custom that such soup is for women to drink for quick recovery and good health after giving birth. But here noodles cooked in such kind of soup and topped with omelette fried with ginger slices, minced pork and wood-ear fungus make a nutritious and hearty breakfast for anyone to kick-start the day. Other attractions on the menu: noodles in seafood soup, pan meen noodles, fish head meehoon, fish or seafood porridges. Would go back to try the rest.

Well, I love Fish Head Noodles and when I was introduced to this place, I was anticipating a yummy meal but unfortunately, the Fish Head Noodles here just didn't live up to my expectation. Nevertheless, the "Yue Po Tan" (Ginger, Woodear fried egg) ain't that bad. Again, it's just my preference, you may wanna give this a try. After all, everyone has different preference :)
