★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A hidden gem of Cheras, Batur 9 or 9th Mile. I grow up there and never knew this shop existed. Run by elderly couple. Classic taste and awesome flavor. They have other varieties too but i only took the bah kut teh. It was really gd. I do feel u can skip Klang or kepong bkt (since the rain and flood is unpredictable) n go here if u r from cheras. Almost 85% similar taste to d gd ones in Kepong n Klang.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My usual haunt for BKT if pass by. Quietness of the neighbourhood, new village kampung style. The old couple have been here for years.
Good soup base with your choice of meat and other parts. Served in claypot. Must try the braised vinegar pork knuckle. Also in menu are veggies and steamed fish.
You'll need to be early on weekends or public holidays, they could sell out by 8pm.
