employs many Indonesian workers. About
4 yrs ago the food was excellent, the daily turnout of the customers were huge. You h- ave to line up to self serve and also line up
pay your bills. Things have declined since then. The taste and quality of the food h've
gone down and a large portion of the custo-
Omer's (mostly Malays ).have disappeared.
Those days the beef curry ws my favourite.
The taste ws superb ; the meat was tender;
the gravy goes well with rice ; the spices we- re of the right composition and there is not too much salt. Today salt have dominated the menu even in the vegetables.With all th-
ese said and done Lestari is still the place to go for Malay food when in Tampoi Indah ar-
ea.The chilli sambal adds taste to everythi-
ng. The lontong in the morning is also very tasty. During the fasting month of Ramadan Lestari is open daily frm 3.00 pm to 5.00 am.
