★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A luxorious eatery to try but i still cant understand why people didnt come to this place, yet choosing the other restaurant.
What is more important, this restaurant is very clean and children-friendly. U can perform ur maghrib and isyak prayer here because there is a mini surau over there. The price of the food is also very reasonable. U can eat all d way u want and dont worry about ur child because they can play at the playground nearby. Everything was in good, neat, and satisfy all i want.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We enjoyed our seafood dinner here. We arrived at around 6.30 pm, thursday evening (long weekend). There were 19 of us. There were many empty tables when we arrived, (but the place slowly filled up, by 8ish the place was in full swing). Cerana is a double storey building, next to a fisherman jetty. (We bought some super fresh fish at the jetty). Cerana was spacious and airy. They have both covered and alfresco seating area.
We ordered 4 sets of fish (two types, both grilled) crab, squid, vegetables, and other dishes, and lots of nasi lemak and jugs of fresh orange juice. It came to rm720, which we thought was acceptable, because we really ordered a lot (had to tapau some), food was really tasty, and the place was comfortable.They also had a praying area for muslim that is really comfortable and clean. There was also ample parking area. We plan to visit cerana the next time we are in melaka...?.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ •Food: 5/5 - All were fantastic!!! My faves were the Nasi goreng Cina, Ikan siakap bakar & Daging Bakar Cerana ???? Tom yam was sweet, sour and not too spicy - just a bit cold when served. We ordered 4 fried rice, sweet/sour crabs, ginger clams, butter prawns, grilled fish, Grilled beef, and grilled chicken - all were exquisite!
•Drinks: 5/5 - Generous jug of Hot lemon tea and the kopi susu was rich and strong - I highly recommended the coffee????
•Portion: 5/5 Generous amount of seafood, meat and 1 plate of fried rice is enough for 2 people.
•Environment: Clean, cool, spacious and open aired dining area.
•Parking: plenty of open aired parking space - we came early at 5:30pm.
•Price: 5/5 - extremely reasonable as we had ordered a lot! All for RM189.00

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I think it's been ages since I had ikan bakar in Melaka. This ikan bakar spot which is situated in Alai is not that far from Melaka town and not as crowded as in Umbai. There were quite a generous selection of seafood to choose from here and the price was quite reasonable too. The food were served quite fast & the services were commendable.
Suffice to say that this place is not a disappointment at all if u want to bring your family for a "Jalan Jalan Cari Makan". There's an ample parking space, a surau & a small playground for kids to play while parents finish up the rest of the food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love at 1st sight i might say. 1st of all we've avoid coming during weekends n pholiday. 2ndly we've arrived after 9pm so not much overlapping orders. So we had 1st class service. Took 2 siakap totalling 1.7kg. 600grams large prawns . 400grams squids . A set of hotplate beancurd cost rm9+. 700grms crabs, plus nasi putih n 2 jug of ice tea. Our bill totalling rm290.. which is super reasonable.
No hidden charges whatsover as there are price and details of dishes u wish to have right beside the fresh seafood spread for you to choose. They measures Weight right in front of you so u can budget your spending.
7 of us came back home with big smile and happy tummy.
Thank you.. we will surely come again soon.
Clean place . Solat room for muslims.
