The restaurant is a common malay style decoration serve Thai food located at village area. They serve variety of ala-carte food including manggo and durian pulut. Clean and friendly staff.

I saw a lot of complaints about late service but you can beat the queue when it's crowded by reserving your tables and ordering beforehand. The number given in the menu above works. Affordable and delicious and it's opened on Mondays.

The kids already very hungry & crying. The adults also from hungry to never angry because of angry already conquer our minds.

The main food served is your standard seafood, so expect traditional stuff like sotong goreng tepung (deep-fried cuttlefish) and siakap (sea bass). We took the siakap masak pedas together with 2 sets of sotong goreng tepung. The siakap was lovely, and the flavor was rich. It quite spicy too! There was a lot of meat on the fish as well. As for the sotong goreng tepung, it was covered in spiced flour, so it looked a bit like cekodok (fritters) but the taste is amazing. It was so amazing that we had to buy another set. The Tom Yam was exquisitely spicy as well, so order yourself a Teh Tarik or Milo Ais to wash off the spice. Price-wise it's affordable. A lot of people come here either from nearby Kampung or staffs from Genting Highland. So the food is clearly popular among the locals. Make sure to visit here any time you go to Janda Baik!
