★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The usual poached chicken rice was closed and we chanced upon this hidden gem established in the early 1970s further along the street.
They serve Chinese cuisine dishes and the pineapple sweet and sour pork ribs seems to be a favourite together with paper wrapped chicken.
Don't forget to try their signature home brewed barley and winter melon (a light fleshed variety from the usual darker type) drink which has little or no additional sweetening other then the ingredients themselves.
We had fried rice, fried glass noodles and egg and kuey teow wet noodles and they are quite delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very old restaurant in seri kembangan I revisit this shop again almost 30 years after my last visit taste is still very much the same suggest 2 taste prawn and paper wrapped chicken they have many famous dishes that you need to pay few visits to taste them all parking space may be limited and outdoor seating

Parking is a problem in this area especially during the peak hours for meal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is an iconic traditional Chinese restaurant in Serdang. A 51 years old restaurant that is located right beside the main street. Don't expect good service.
Their signature dishes are tahu stew, pineapple pork and wrapped chicken, we didn't order the later.
Tahu stew is somewhat flat for me, I've had better tahu stew elsewhere, I blamed the quantity of meat crab and shrimp.
Pineapple pork is neither here nor there, the closest dish I'd relate is sweet and sour pork but minus the sweetness and sour. A good sweet and sour pork is hard to find.
While the Assam tilapia is on the light side, my friend like it. I'm used to rich and thick Assam. Fish was fresh I must say. I prefer the ginger grasscarp.
The lettuce is good with a rich fermented bean curd.
For an old establishment, I expected more. I was disappointed.
Avoid the weekend, this place will be crowded. Parking could be problematic.
