★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Poor service. Never seen chicken in their chilli powdered chicken curry .. very limited choice.. fish curry is not ready yet for a 10am breakfast.. Looking forward for improvement as this the only indian restaurant in town...

Prior coming, i did a little google review "surveying" on this restaurant as like most people i give utmost importance to google reviews and what caught my attention was how promptly the owner has replied to the good and lesser reviews. In this digital era google review has become the new word of mouth. Hence, i told myself, i must try this restaurant as the person who replied the reviews has mentioned that he/she wants every customer to leave the shop satisfied.
I was starving insanely, so i went for the mix rice option. I had vegetables , fish curry and i wasnt in the mood for chicken, so i took a piece of their fried tenggiri fish.. When i took my first bite of the fish, i told myself it was definitely worth the drive as the fish was so fresh. I enjoyed my food and i would like to thank the owner for putting so much of love into the business and giving customers food worth every penny.
During payout, i asked the cashier if she was the owner to which she smilingly said yes and even gave us a 20% discount as my colleague and i had our name tags on. Thank you and i hope to dine in again soon and shall recommend to any of my friends/family who comes to bentong.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went for a breakfast to this restaurant yesterday! If you are super hungry and looking for a breakfasf nvr ever makes this restaurant as ur option to eat ! We order a ghee masala thosai and waited for almost 50 minutes , and my fiance constantly reminding them about our order, but seems like no one cares! The drinks we order only came after my fiance again reminding them to 2 to 3 times, we never expected this type of services as we going there for the first time! Not professional at all, at last after 50 minutes of waiting we left the restaurant without having the breakfast, and the most funny part we were charged for the ghee thosai that we nvr had, and after we told them then they removed it from the bill! Guys if you are super hungry , and wants to have your food and you have plans after your meals, nvr choose this restaurant, because you will waiting there forever to have your food!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Didn't expect to find Indian food in this small town. I am a vegetarian and hence was looking for decent food options.. Surely was not disappointed with this place. While it serves both veg and non veg food, the staff quickly understood our preference and served only Veg options. The plantain leaf and banana was a bonus.
