★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love their numbering queue system. It makes life so much easier and less annoying by having people standing next to your table and staring at you while you enjoying the dimsum. Recommend the 小籠包, definitely one of my favourite from this restaurant. Dim Sum taste and quality is okay, loads of selection from menu, the best of all is that price is reasonable and normal people like me can afford it. LoL.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They have improved the queuing system. There's number allocated to wait for your turn now. However, there will still be few uncles and aunties that will straight sit on the table without queuing.
Dim sum wise, they are still delicious especially the crispy prawn rolls and siew mai. Rice rolls and glutinous rice were quite good as well.
The white coffees were quite good as well. They are not 3-in-1 luckily.
Prices are above average. Credit Card is accepted here.

Food - Variety of choices dim sum, fried dim sum, baozi, porridge and vermicelli roll. Yet do remember to come earlier as lot of things sold out when lunch time.
Taste - The taste is good and the prawns are fresh. Only the big baozi out of my expectations.
Service - General service provided. You need to take number at the counter and you will be served accordingly.
Location - Easy to access by taking a car, around 10min away from the town area.

Fried custard bun, liu sha bao was my favourite among all. Not too sweet but new to me for everytime it presents to be Steamed.
Fried glutinous rice instead of chicken glutinous rice! Perfectly cooked and taste so good with Chinese sausages.
Hainan coffee that could beat the traditional one at the old town, creamy and thick.
The others will be a must for Chinese dimsum. Take a try here for more options.

It’s freshness and quality with crunchy prawn meat is unbeatable at least to our family. Highly recommended l!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chooi Yue Dim Sum offer one of the best dim sum in Ipoh. Their dim sum is flavorful with some unique dim sum only served during weekends. Queue is long too but they had numbering system, if you come in smaller group, it will be quick to get a seating spot. Parking spot is limited and fine will be imposed for illegal parking! Their speciality would be salted egg custard bun that filled with pandan paste as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely one of the better dim sum restaurants in Ipoh… long queue when we went there so must tahan a bit! Overall food quality is good. Price is quite reasonable. Expect loud noises as people are talking like how they are supposed to in a dim sum restaurant ?
