Local chinese seafood restaurant. Waiting in line during peak hours. Parking lots available. Minimum two crabs. I had two total 1.1kg black pepper crabs, clams soup, and claypot salted fish and pork. Total around RM200 (crabs RM140++, claypot RM15+, clams rm15+)

Ate here over the years both pre and post COVID. Recently visited twice in the last 2 months, food quality has gone down tho the speed of service is maintained. Will look for alternative.

Fresh seafood. Got the Black Pepper Crab, Cereal Prawns and Steamed sea bass. Highly recommend. Could give the broccoli a miss, nothing special.

Came to dinner on a friday evening around 6pm and the place was quite packed already. This goes show the popularity of the restaurant. Its pretty far away from the regaulr places Singaporeans go and it was worth the trip. We ordered the slated egg crabs, fried sotong, fried beehoon, long beans and Indonesian prawns. Crabs were without a doubt the star of the show, succulent, fat and very tasty.Fried sotong was crispy and crunchy. Everything else was also of a very high standard. Highly recommended to arrive by 6pm to avoid a long wait. We left around 715pm and there were at least 20 people waiing for tables.

Ambience, prices, car park was all right. Service was OK too... Flavors and taste of food to me was good enough, but lacking compared to other seafood or zichar stalls in Johore or Malaysia. E.g., the belly pork with salted fish was below par (maybe they ran out of Salted fish!!?l and the fried prawns tasted bland, flat. Like as if they were fake prawns...?, quite disappointing) For a day's out in JB n looking for somethg different/unique with a kampung 'feel', can try here.... otherwise, may be more sensible to eat at other seafood stalls....

Need to hustle to get service as the place is overrun with customers. But the food was so good. Free parking on the street and in the lot. Feels like the good times in the 90s Black pepper crab, cereal prawns recommended. The crab shells are nicely cracked so it's super easy to eat.

Went at 5pm and it was pretty empty. But it was filled up very quickly by 6pm. The aunt who took our order was patient and friendly. The salted egg crab was very good, and best is its not spicy so it's suitable for kids. 10 minute drive from Legoland. And there is a dedicated carpark for Chua kee customers opposite the restaurant too ?

Went on a Friday night time. Easy to find parking along the road instead of the restaurant dedicated parking spots. First of all, be patients to their staffs. They were busy and don’t entertain you even we had eyes contact. Eventually we managed to order haha.. ordered the salted egg crab and other dishes. The crabs definitely very fresh and taste good. Overall spent about rm250 for 4 person. I guess it’s reasonable. Worth to visit again for the seafood.
