My favourite Restaurant for lunch before Conv 19 plenty of food and various types of vegetables cooked or uncooked treated as salads. Plenty of choices and prices are reasonable. Space is spacious

Good affordable lunch for malay pantai timur shop. Sup daging + budu + ulam perfect combo! Oh their roti canai is crispy and only for breakfast.

The curry chicken is very nice with nasi kunyit and nasi dagang. The curry a bit too tough but some soft pieces are nice. I think to take your own food from the counter during CMCO is a bit lack on the SOP of Covid prevention.

I called this cafe as Sampan Cafe?... It because it have a fisherman boat in front of the cafe and it is such a nice way to recognise the restaurant. It served breakfast with variety of kueh, nasi dagang, bubur and roti canai too. Lunch also served with veriety of choices including ulam. Space wise and conditio. are comfortable, not warm and hygienic..

Delicious, price reasonable, lots choice of food if you go around lunch time. Repeatedly coming here. No telur choice there, wish they had ones.

Highly recommended. The place is actually a branch of the crazy busy Pantai Dalam outlet. The food is identical is taste and presentation albeit slightly smaller offerings. The 3 huge plus points for this place versus the main one and Sambal Hijau down the road are: (1) It's not busy at all. You don't have to stress out getting the seating or the food. (2) By virtue of the above, it's really clean. Heck it's the cleanest Malay food outlet I've ever seen. (3) it's airy plus it's not crowded and hence not busy. You can actually lepak there after eating. Go for it.

It's not quite a secret but while the ever-popular Sambal Hijau nearby looks crowded and cramped, this place is often overlooked. But it's one of the best places for Kelantanese food in town, and one of the best-looking as well. The decor is simple but the layout feels refreshing with the breeze coming through, like having a meal at the verandah of a typical Malay house. There's the stray fried tempe, but it's 99% east coast mainstays, and fresh gulai kawah daily. The ulam/sayur celur (blanched vegetables) selection is impressive as well with the standard dips and sauces inc tempoyak. There's nasi kerabu and nasi dagang for breakfast and if they haven't run out you can have them for lunch. There's about a half-dozen deserts on selection daily including fresh bubur pulut hitam (glutinous rice soup) and akok (a type of eggy pancake). I've been bringing friends both with East Coast heritage and not, and it's always a hit. Standard Malay buffet serving style and Malaysian drinks list (so while I'm sure there's a menu I don't see ppl refer to any)

Their 2nd branch. Larger with more seating & airy. Friendly staff. Affordable considering the area. Unfortunately lesser choices of dishes. Taste wise average at best. Their original outlet is so much better. If in this area their competitor down the road would be a better option. Still ok for a quick lunch.
