β β β β β Came here for the Wan Tan Mee and Curry Mee. Both good. Ipoh Chicken Noodle is also not bad. Soup is a bit on the clear side, those with a preference for heavy tastes may find it a tad bland. We liked the clean and airy atmosphere inside. Service is good.

β β β β β Compared to Double Seven across the street or Lim Sisters at the other end of the row, Golden Plus is a tiny shop with much fewer hawker stalls. They went through an extensive refurbishment last year (perhaps by a new proprietor) - as a result, it is much brighter, cleaner, and tidier.
Business have picked up, especially during weekends, after opening of new stalls in the past few months. Though they operate all day, we have only come here at night. There is a stall making grilled seafood, another specializing in Indian-style claypot rice, and a Penang hawker selling crabs and other seafood dishes. For those who prefer Chinese-style food, there is also a new Tai Chow 倧η operated by Burmese (Surprisingly, they were pretty good).
Prices here are slightly cheaper too. If you find yourself frustrated because of long wait at neighboring shops, this is definitely a viable alternative.
