★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Having heavy breakfast Muar style. Guilty free to have sate/satay early in the morning. Other dish can be choose; soto (sambal kicap free flow ?), nasi lemak, Mee rebus, Mee bandung and ofcourse LONTONG! Other nearest warung can be choose in the same building; Sate Haba and Sate Warisan.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Residents of Muar have satay for breakfast. There were 3 small vintage restaurants along the same road selling satay and other classic Johorean dishes. I had soto, and some satay. The soto was rather disappointing, as there were very few pieces of shredded chicken in it, and the soup was too watery. It took very long time for the satay to reach us, as the satau guy was busy packing takeaways even though we came earlier. Thats bad!! . When finally the satay came, after calling twice for it, the peanut sauce was too watery as well. They must have added water to the gravy. Bad!! However, the satay, even though small for 90 sen each, was nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Breakfast sate is a must while in Muar. And we also ordered lontong kering, lontong, mee rebus & soto. The price considered affordable.
Along the road, there are 3 kedai yang serve almost the same menu for breakfast. Parking a bit challenging for someone not fron Muar, but we managed to park at open space in front of Pej. Polis nearby.
