โ โ โ โ โ Malay cooking with grilled fish, kebab and prata stalls. Grilled sting ray was overcooked. Not a place to enjoy grilled fish. Better go to Restoran Nelayan Teluk Baru jeti, for grilled fish. (no alcohol allowed).

โ โ โ โ โ Another choice for reasonable priced seafood restaurant with medium sized prawn cooked with butter but the chef has to learn more how to make it more softer. Our sotong goreng tepung probably better than Vivo Forever but really superb, just so and so and better than most small restaurants which try to almost everything in their menus.
It has enough parking space during weekend for those who are driving but you will be lucky enough to get one during major public holidays!!!
The service was quite good with a live entertainment from someone who sang Malay and Islamic songs using just an empty large water container you normally put upside down in a office as a kompang ;)
A good place even just for a coffee and tea and can even cater a large group of people.

โ โ โ โ โ A very bad experience. The overall food in general was very dissapointing. Environment, facilities are bad. The only reason we ate here was the restaurant opposite, orkid ria, is full and we don't have the luxury to wait 20mins for a seat for 12, and we were very hungry and its empty except for a couple. But if you have the time, please eat at orkid ria. Its just opposite the road. We had to wait 30 mins too to get the food we ordered. One was satay received was like half cooked or just under done. whats the point of ordering charcoal bbq satay if theres no char and barely cooked? Another is a ginger tea, look at that cut balance ginger. Its a whole ginger they just sliced it and put into the tea. Then they called it original langkawi tea. They are just lazy. There shouldn't even be any residue for the tea. Do stray away from here unless your desperate for food. Even if desperate, eat bread from the minimart nearby.

โ โ โ โ โ Their nasi lemak( 1.5rm )and roti canai (1.5rm) are the best with unbeatable price.and they sell all types of rotis. They open around 7:30am for breakfast. The sittng area is big with both indoor and outdoor sitting facilities.

โ โ โ โ โ First dinner in Langkawi. Opted for a local place. They had different stalls for grilled fish and fresh juices.
The grilled fish was good but took a bit too long. The actual dishes from the restaurant itself were quite good and fast.
The sambal they have for the Nasi goreng was gooood...?

โ โ โ โ โ Decent food for a very affordable price. We had the food as takeaway so that we could eat it back at the hotel. We also had roti and coconut juice (coconut water and sweet coconut milk) which were good. The beef cashew nut dish was a little tough but the kuey teow goreng was excellent.
