β β β β β They have many unique dishes not normally found. As a visitor itβs great to come and taste different types of dishes. Pricey but I guess you pay what you getβ¦ quality food. Should dine here when you are visiting

β β β β β Went there on a Thursday lunchtime. Quiet. But was treated to an amazing meal by an award winning chef. Very friendly and made us felt very welcomed. Had the seafood pot with crispy rice in soup. The prawns were not crunchy but the taste was amazing. The twist they had for the tofu and dragon vege was absolutely amazing too. A wonderful meal from this private kitchen. Would come back again for sure.
Came back 2 years later and still love the food. The sweet and sour pork is really nice, the mixed vege was great and we tried their prawn paste too (I didn't quite like this). Though food is higher priced, I would come back here again whenever in kuantan.

β β β β β We arrived at 5:30pm, which was the opening time for the evening session. Since we arrived on 17 Dec 2021, we were right smack in the rainy season.
We couldn't order a few signature dishes that included the fish and standing chicken (this could only be crispy when placed under the hot sun) but one dish did stand out; the soup with rice and chicken. I don't always drink soup during meals but this was excellent! Some rice bits were crunchy and the soup really captured the taste and essence of chicken.
The spare ribs and signature tofu were okay. But nothing that I'd reorder if I were to come back. The chef apparently won several awards from Hong Kong, or something along those lines.
UPDATE: We revisited the restaurant again on 15 May 2022. We ordered the soup with rice and kampung chicken (RM68), fish (fried fish head and soft fillet slices) in soup (sui zhou yu) (RM108) and paku (a type of fern) with egg (RM22). The first chicken soup with crispy rice bits was as delicious as we remembered. The fish soup was less complex in taste with a milk-based but less heavy texture. It was also delicious but if I had to choose only one soup to try, the chicken soup is my must-have. The paku with egg was interesting but seemed to have predominantly more egg than veg. We reached by 6.30pm and some tables were reserved. We got the last table there. But by 7.30pm, there were empty tables available.

β β β β β This restaurant serves special dishes such as seafood porridge. We had seafood claypot, a plate of vegetables & the pork ribs. Generally taste good but abit pricey. 3 dishes 3 pax about Rm220.

Ordered red sea bass fish and a vegetable.
Do I recommend it?
Yes, highly recommended.

β β β β β Visited this place while I am in Kuantan. This is one of the best Chinese restaurant and they offer some dishes that's not normally offered.
They operate like a family restaurant but with 5 star food. So do expect that the service warm and maybe not consistent - but they will try their best.
Do order their signature fried rice and seafood "pao rice". The chicken is average apart from its photographic value.
