Lots of people. Need to take number to wait for your turn. Think they open before 8 am earlier than what is stated in Google.
Food are good but a bit expensive. They comply with COVID-19 SOPs.
Please note they allocate 50 mins dine-in time for each table. But for those with kids, only 30 mins.
First time here. Will go again next time when I visit Ipoh.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Takeout dim sum from neighbourhood dim sum restaurant -- Restoran Hong Kong Dim Sum in Tambun, Ipoh - one of the best dim sum restaurants in Ipoh. We bought fried fish balls, lin yoong pau, char siew pau, lor mai kai, two kinds of Ipoh style chee cheong fun (with prawns and char siew), siew mai, and har gow. I miss the lor mai kai and lin yoong pau in the US. The lor mai kai is so good! Perfect balance of chicken meat, fat, shiitake mushrooms, and glutinous rice with seasoned soy sauce. I always like their lin yoong pau and char siew pau. Generous portions of char siew in the char siew pau.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sop is observed here at entry. Need to know what is the protocol otherwise lady boss will chase you out to get a number.
Workers are friendly and food is served promptly upon getting a table to sit.
Dimsum at a corner coffee shop, without aircond. Price reflects environment.
Special Yam croquttes taste good, big pao is good, lots of filling. ?
Har gao sheds its skin when you try to pick it up?.
Fried turnip cake is mushy to bite.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Comforting dim sum favourites come in steamed, pan-fried, deep fried varieties and more.
Fresh ingredients, taste could be subjective to some ie too flavoursome. It will be perfect if it's not so salty. Some dim sum are with the same filling ingredients, that's make it not much surprise. Fried radish cake and Loh Mei Kai, taste average.
Reasonable price. Staffs are very attentive and friendly.

Food was good and the staff were very strict on SOP. Service can be better, as the staff will not be patient with you.
Expect to be crowded everyday

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I always patronise this restaurant but to my surprise this time, it wasn't to my expectation. Why do you think? Definitely it because of its service as we were seated outside and wasn't round by the staffs with the variety of dhim sum unlike those customers seated inside were well served. Even for a pot of tea that couldn't reach our table which suppose to be the1st thing before being round by the trays of many kinds of dhim sum. Had to go inside toaskfortea again and also keep asking them to come around for different varieties. High time for the staffs to be aware of those customers who were outside to be served equally as those inside. Why the double standard when we pay for the same amount?? Do you think its fair?Get geared up before you loose your regular customers who are disappointed and more staffs to served those seated outside too.
