★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Restoran Ismail is one of those early Mamak Restaurant in Perlis and still survive until today. The business starts at early morning (7 am) and close late at night. In Perlis, not many mamak outlet offers variety of thosai such as Masala Thosai in the morning. Restoran Ismail is an exception. It serves Masala Thosai and Poori in the morning. However, it doesn't serve these menu at night. The mamak is clean as I observed. Other choices of food include "goreng2" ala mamak, nasi kandar, roti canai and Capati. Close to the roundabout, it is an option for those who wants mamak dish before reaching Kangar.
