★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best of the rest canto chow noodles.
Been eating here since the days of his father and uncles ( other locale). Second generation and the noodles are still toasted.
Beef horfun is still good and the meifun chap is still as crispy as tasty as before.
Sang har kon Chee tasty
Sang har mee without the noodles is just as good for those who wanna cut down the carbs.....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The rating is for the Shang Har Noodle that we had as it's the only food we ordered. The gravy is salty, don't have the char flavour (wok hei) which is very important for this dish. The shang Har flesh is a bit to the hard side. Probably it's been frozen? After all, it's not worth for the price you pay for. Will try other dish on next visit before conclude our verdict whether it is a worth-dine for restaurant in our book.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered the signature prawn noodles, beef noodles, dry pan fried (big headed clear water) prawn and some vegetables. The signature dish is good, but I found the beef noodles a little too salty to my liking. The dry pan fried big headed clear water prawn was really good, would recommend to try if don’t mind the price (RM96 for 2 pcs), vegetable is ok. The serving attitude here is not ideal and do expect to wait for your food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here after reading a write up by Bangsar Babe.
Wet version: the noodle is cooked just right and goes well with the sauce. The beef is abit tough for my liking. Overall the it’s a good plate of noodle but I find it lacking certain oomph. Maybe that’s just me.
Dry version: I would have to agree that this is a better of the 2. The noodle is cooked just right, although I find it lacking abit of wok hei. Definitely one of the better one I had, but not the best.
Vege: mandatory Vitamin C ordering, nothing much to shout about.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Service attitude is the worst I've seen in my life. Was excited to try this place because my grandmother recommended it. Brought my friends to dine here, it was our first experience hence we did not know what to order. When we asked what an item was, the waiter actually replied us with "Owh, you don't know? Then don't order la".
Decide for yourself if this is the type of service you want to be treated with. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My first time was great! Unfortunately, it is hit and miss. The second time when I went there, I ordered the same thing but it was not as good.
My first experience: I ordered big prawn Sang Har Mee (In picture), the price was a bit shocking as that costed RM100. I was fine with the price after tasting it, the prawns were big and tasted fresh.
I was being informed that I should order normal prawn Sang Har Mee and it should cost only RM20. My second experience: I ordered normal prawn Sang Har Mee and was being told that there were only medium prawns left and so it will cost RM30. The noodle type was not the same as the 1st experience although I asked for the same thing.
The RM100 and RM30 portions were similar. The prawns were slightly smaller for RM30, but quality is same. The 2nd experience was not as flavourful and was quite salty.
A daily updated price board would inform customers better and make customers feel that they are treated equally and feel that the price is not randomly decided. Gaining customers' trust is important.
When it is good, it is reallyyyy good. Risk it for the biscuit!
