This place serves very delicious value for money food. 3 of us went for lunch ordered fried lala, meat rolls and fried sweet potato leaves. All the food was tasty and thoroughly enjoyed. Be prepared to wait as the queue can be long... popular place

came solo but don't worry. the chef can cook for a pax too. ordered the famous seafood porridge with clams, fishes and prawns. not into crab. worried that might not fill up my stomach, so ordered pork spring roll which wasn't on the wall menu. Uneventfully all dishes filled my stomach deliciously. seafood was fresh like just out from sea, the pork spring roll was like freshly made not frozen. I was the 2nd customer when they opened, wait time was only about 15min.

If you crave for authentic teochew culinary. This is the restaurant you cannot be missed. Teochew steam fish is the best among all dishes I ordered. It is a traditional restaurant with no air conditioning. In the afternoon can be a bit hot but bearable. Tips? come here before 12pm. You can skip the big lunch crowd.

Excellent food in a unfancy local neighborhood restaurant in small town off the highway, Nibong Tebal. Fresh seafood and teochew style food. Price is reasonable. Assam prawns is how it should be, right portion of Assam sourness infused into the shells, meat Nad prawn head. The crab porridge broth is sweet and tasty, from boiling the crab meat in it Worth the detour if you are travelling between Penang and Ipoh.

Marvelous!! All the dishes they serve was so good and it reminds me of childhood food. It’s hard to find Asam Prawn in KL anymore. The stir fry tofu was one of the best dish very long time ago. But it’s quite normal now already. Maybe can opt for another dishes for more varieties.
