Today I take away with 7 items (roti + tosei), packed by the same staff, I forgotten to check, he gave me one small packet of dal only, really don't know how to eat, my mistake, forgotten to check,

Not a place that I would want to go back.

Management seems to be different compared to the ones during mco.
Cleanliness also can be improved. Need better sanitation on the table.
Food used to be good. Now is quite normal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered delivery from Lotus Curry House and was pleasantly surprised that the rice came wrapped in banana leaf. Second surprise was that the rice serving was so huge that one serving was enough for 2 persons. We had the vegetable version and the serving came with 3 vegetables and 1 curry. The dhal curry was nice and thick. We added vegetarian chicken which had a spicy kick and also teh tarik and teh halia. Although not quite the same as dine in experience of banana leaf, we found the delivery meal delicious and satisfying.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried this variant with the same name as the one along Jalan Gasing; that chain Lotus the family restaurant. In conclusion, it's a tale of 2 cities. This curry house is a no frills version. Relatively easier parking. A choice of air-conditioned vs. outdoor seating. A wall plastered menu if you're lining up for mixed rice. Even table service for your frieds, rotis or dessert - they make an awesome sweet appam i was told. I wolfed down a plate of rice with protein and vegetables sprinkled with pappadums and drenched in mixed curries. A simple meal in an airy tin roofed canteen with lots of cold drinks would be how best to summarise this visit - no grandiose expectations.
