★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not easy to spot if it’s your first time as it’s located along a row of shops that is elevated from the road. Plenty of local regulars on a weekday morning but service was quick and friendly.
Portions were ridiculously generous for the price (by SG standards). I had the laksa with 老鼠粉 as I wanted something spicy on a cold rainy morning but with minimal splatter since I was wearing a light colored top. Gravy could have been thicker and more lemak but not a major issue. They threw in fishcake, fish ball, 叉烧 and a meat ball but the latter tasted powdery. No egg nor see hum though.
Premises were clean despite it being next to a motorcycle repair shop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Portion of the food is decent. Price is economical. But long queue and hence long wait. I ordered a tea, and the taste is very diluted. The creamer used in tea also low quality, and can be seen partially solidified in my tea.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They serve good coffee and foods. Prices are cheap compare to Singapore. Their laksa is Malaysia curry and is good. Now run by children but standard is the same. Whenever my friend and I visited JB, we will have our cheap and good breakfast in this coffee shop for past 30 years.
