โ โ โ โ โ When KL declared PH, back iph & 1st thing in mind when reached was kshf?
The place was crowded even on weekday?
So decided, takeaway
Waited 20-25 min for the kshf ?
As usual the taste is ? but suggest finish when the broth still hot/ warm.
The cham ice was...
1st time tried the fried hor fun..full of wok hei & taste nice too..next time need ask aunty for more chili?

โ โ โ โ โ An excellent stopover for breakfast and early lunch. Thereโs always a wait; depending on the flow of peopleโฆ 10am seems like a sweet spot. The Ipoh โKai si hor funโ is the thing to eat followed closely by the dry curry noodles. Drinks are of excellent standard.

โ โ โ โ โ Good kai-si-hor-fun and dried chicken curry noodles. Came at 9.45am and got served in half hour. Can order some sides, like saito fish ball and fu pei. Workers are diligently clearing tables. Closed every Mon and Tues.
P/s ice coffee is now RM2.50. Prices were raised during CNY and never came down.

โ โ โ โ โ We came here specially for the chicken hor fun which is good here. It is one of the stalls at this corner shop lot and there are other choices of noodles. Have heard that we have to wait really long for the chicken hor fun, it's true. Was there about 8.30am plus and the crowd was already there. My piece of advice to order something else to eat while waiting for the hor fun. The local coffee was ok, the bitter kind. At last, came our hor fun with the extra order of fish balls, pork balls and fuchuk. The hor fun soup given was just nice covering the noodles, a disappointment as if eating dry noodles. Anyway, the soup base taste good and so were the hor fun.....so smooth. Loaded with small prawns and quite generous amount of shredded chicken. The pork balls, fish balls and fuchuk are fresh and springy.

โ โ โ โ โ This outlet Kai Si Hor Fun is superb, in my personal opinion, it is better than the one in Thean Chun Coffee Shop. Went around 8am, was told waiting is 45 minutes.. Look at the nos of bowls on queuing table..

โ โ โ โ โ One of the restaurant that is famous in Ipoh, located within a residential area, this restaurant has the ipoh famous ้ธกไธๆฒณ็ฒ gai si hor fun.
Came here three times, never got the chance to try their hor fun. Tried their hakka mee and signature sheng mee.
Hakka mee taste a little too salty to my liking, but otherwise the dumplings soup was nice. The signature Sheng mee was also nice as well, with quite generous ingredients given. The noodles were crispy at first, then soaked in the starchy soup it became soft.
There is also a very nice noodle joint a few shops down the road. Parking is not hard here
Pricing of food is also reasonable.

โ โ โ โ โ Had my dry curry chicken noodle as usual and it tastes the same - excellent. Of course the price has gone up but then everyone has gone up too. Yet, the price is reasonable and the portions are small so that you can try other things. I had additional 2 of their pork balls with my dry curry noodle. The pork ball has cuttle fish added and so itโs extra tasty. Make sure you taste the soup that comes with it. You wonโt regret it. ? I find drinks in particular to be very expensive in Ipoh probably due to the strong coffee shop association. Itโs even more expensive than in KL. ?. By the way, there are other nice stalls in Moon De Moon. Chee cheong fun, fried noodles etc.

โ โ โ โ โ There is various food for choosing. The famous one is the shredded chicken noodles then curry chicken noodles. This order will takes so long time to serve. If you have a big empty stomach you can order a fried noodles while waiting the meal above.
Coffee is above average. And the waitress will offer half boiled eggs or baked bread when taking drinks order. Both is average but can kill some time while waiting for the noodle.
Shop will close after the item sold out or maybe around 1. The best visit time is early morning around 7 or late morning around 11. This wound skipped the crowded.
Overall is good and a return customer for me. Peace!
