★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's about the only mamak nasi kandar restaurant in Bandar Sungai Petani so that makes it our 'port' to hang out or have our meals leisurely. The restaurant serves the usual mamak stuffs but isn't as complete as Subaidah or Pelita or Hasani. It does serves nasi briyani only on Saturdays and nasi royale to go with the lauk kandar almost everyday. The staff are friendly (and even know their names by now) and services are fast. Occasionally they will get our orders wrong but not all the time.
It closes every next thursdays and on friday from 11.00 till 1 for friday prayers and the only gripe I would have would be where to park the car. Anyway, parking a little distant off and making the stroll to the restaurant isn't that too demanding.
The food are good and price tu biasalah apt to kedai mamak. If you want a reliable place to have a quick meal in BPJ, then look no further. Unlike other malay stalls, they don't close without notice.
