Was great although the air filteration is quite bad, the food smell sticked very strongly to your clothe once you left this restaurant.

Monggolian fried rice quite good.

Located in a unashamedly proletarian neighbourhood on the fringes of PJ, with the addition of a single alphabet that would reveal right away how much your property would be worth, this is quite a decent place if only u stick to the nasi campur or the economy rice, although economy wouldn't really come into the equation if u splurged on the number of mouth-watering options available. This then, seems a relatively recent newcomer, about a couple of years old, which serves dishes with a decidedly Minang feel. It's not nasi Padang with the dishes piled picturesquely one plate above the other, but the selection seems to suggest dishes which would not be out of place in a regular nasi Padang joint. U have a choice of brinjal and pineapple pajeri, any number of regular style beef or chicken dishes, and a choice of sambal. There is also a generous selection of fish dishes, if u prefer seafood. U had for the meat dishes, kurma, masak lemak, rendang, masak kicap and so forth. The selection is not infinite but the sheer spread creates an optical illusion, aided by a rumbling tummy that begs to be filled. It's all self service here, so after u pile your plate with whatever u wish to poison your body with, u proceed to the dining area, adjacent to the room where the dishes are placed. This dining area, accessible by a door, and separated by a glass partition, ensures that u observe everything that goes on in the other room where the food is. U will perhaps be startled by the diners around u, and u will in the course of your meal, observe the arrival of more and more plebs with their extended family members in tow, this being a place considered wholesome for the whole family and something of a treat. Amid all this hubbub, someone will come to your table and total up the things you've taken, and u will be handled a small chit with the amount scribbled on it. U may need to struggle a little to catch the attention of the waitress on a busy day but u will be attended to, eventually. Don't of course feign outrage and kick up a fuss, no matter the problem, because the plebs are a laid back lot and u achieve better results if u try and be patient and joke around with them. I happened to order from them on Panda and I'm afraid the fried rice was pretty pathetic as was the apple juice that was highly diluted and tastes of anything but apples although they provided shavings as proof. They do have the usual fried items and an extensive Western menu but try these at your peril. I would probably avoid the fried rice and similar items. Ppl come here mostly for the rice and dishes. I have been here close to 10pm during the lockdown when dining in was forbidden, and they still seem to have most of the dishes available, and though cold, they weren't spoiled and were perfectly edible. So if u happen to have a craving for rice and dishes for dinner, it's useful to remember this place exists. Just don't be put off by the somewhat plebeian surroundings, it's perfectly safe and bright. Just be alert, that's all.

Nice food and affordable price. Recommended

I ordered food via foodpanda at 8.56pm...waited until 10.36pm and finally i have to cancelled my order. When i checked in foodpanda, it said that the restaurant is closed. The question is why accept order if you cannot fulfilled it...waste my time and you made people like toys...???

Very very slow service and not attentive to customer, had to call the waiter to take the order while the waiter actively walks to serve customer who are near to her. Waited 20 minutes for drinks to arrive and took another 20 mins more to prepare the food despite low amount of people at the time. Food tastes average. I’m unsure of how this restaurant gets 4 stars. Hope people can give more specific and honest review as I myself came to this shop after seeing high stars review. Let’s give others a more legit way of enjoying their food based on Google reviews.
