Their taste is weird, salty and without real fresh prawn taste. It's a shop rarely have a shop selling hoKKien noodles without the 'loh', they don't have that. If you're on diet, can try their bowl, smallest portion in butterworth@Penang. 价格贵,粉与料太少,味道奇怪,选择太少,没有loh汁, 茶不好喝,其饮品很假。 Services: Menu on wall hardly read, no photo. When you ask, their faces changed to ugly, not friendly at all. Place: Very busy road, many cars and trucks driving fast, hard to reverse parking you car, if you park in by front, when you drive out need to reverse, it's very very dangerous to do that in this road, beware of speedy cars, motorbikes, trucks. The shop small, too warm no air-con, customer sweating like hell. Cooking person also sweating, sweats dripping. Closed for a time and open back, price increased to 4.90 - 5.90. It's smallest portion of noodle in butterworth, price too high for the portion, taste, quality and environment. If you looking for nice HoKKien noodle, go for those around raja Uda selling in a kopitiam (Chinese Coffee and Food shop), which have many different foods. But not those near the Chinese Wet Market.

Nice Hokkien Har Mee (prawn noodles) with stronger taste broth. Can order either soup version or dry (with dark soy sauce). Fishball soup is also available on the side as well as other breakfast classic like toast, half boiled eggs, etc. I was told this place is now onto the 6th generation. The taste might have changed a little since the 5th generation went into retirement-however still great taste (albeit now a little bit saltier than before), hope it’s just a learning curve on the new cooks as they’ll need some time to master it like the ones before them....

the dry type is better than the soup, if you want to eat soup hokkien mee, go Penang island... this more than 20 years is famous with dry hokkien mee, definitely not the soup the portion is quite small and with the price, it is slightly expensive, service is okay and serving time is fast you will find some disappointment with the soup if you have eat any soup hokkien mee in Penang island, just try the dry one not the soup

If you looking for strong taste broth it might not be your liking. Average taste with slightly high price tag.

5 stars for their staff friendly and the way they serve their client. However their food is only so so. Not really like their coffee and milo. Was told by my cousin that they use machine to made the drink.

Pricey. You would not find ? evan a slice of an egg for the big portion ordered! In the bowl was only a few thin slices of pork and a few small prawn. That's all.

My patronizing of this shop ways back to early 70's for easily 10 over years. . The taste if HKM still quite the same despite half of century and take care by 3rd/4th generation. Deep regret they no longer make the sai toh fish balls. At that time, the fish balls are very famous in town. Genuine sai toh fish.

I have tried their Dry Hokkien Mee once before. Unfortunately it tastes nothing like Hokkien Mee. It tastes more like Mee Kicap with prawn & pork slices instead.
