Tldr: overpriced "okay" food with authentic seasoning. I guess you're paying for ambience, but not really??
Food: I had beef rendang, gulai nangka, and tempe balado. overall oilier than expected. Even the gulai's coconut milk has turned to oil. A few hits and misses:
*Hits: seasonings, the rempah are pretty authentic, tastes similar to the typical nasi padang in indo. Gulai was pretty thick and good. The sweet flavour in the rendang comes from the reduced coconut milk, which is nice. The balado is nice as well.
*Misses: rendang is tough as stone, should've used better cut of meat or at least cook slower and longer (or pressure cook!) to break the sinews. I think i bent my spoon a couple of times. The 3 pieces of jack fruit was a bit bitter, maybe the cut it too close to the skin, n it's not tender either. Food is very oily. They need to remember that over reduced coconut milk will turn into oil, so better to skim it.
Ambience: clean and love that they play Indonesian classic songs in the background, love me some chrisye songs. Kinda feel like dining at an atas restoran padang?
Price: for the food quality and portion, i think could've been cheaper. I paid 23 bucks for: rice + 1 meat + 2 veges(yeah counted as veg) + 1 teh botol.
Not sure who's their target demographic, but if they can provide some sets, that'd be better!
Verdict: will i come back? Most likely no

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So far, it’s a decent Padang cuisine in Shah Alam. You get a taste of it but not too authentic. Pros of this place is its cleanliness and choice of dishes. Cons would be on the serving staff whereby they’d need to learn how to scoop the dishes and serve properly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a great place for lunch if you're craving Padang food. The food taste great, a bit pricey but no harm having it once in a while. The place is brightly lit, very comfortable seating arrangements. Parking can be hard because it's a bit limited but if you arrive at the right time, shouldn't be a problem. All in all would go again, specially if I'm in the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really nice ambiance and cozy which is 'instagramable'. Most of the staffs here are attentive. In term of the price, the special beverages are quite pricey. Otherwise, normal beverages (teh botol, sirap etc.); the price quite reasonable. As for the dishes, lots of choices and has dessert like cakes, sago mango and tapai. I'm a fan of sambal hijau but the sambal hijau here tastes quite bland.

Hidang should be in menu selections either A ,B ,C...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited the premises on a Saturday. Ample parking space. We were greeted by what I assume is a supervisor. He mentioned how to go about ordering our drinks and food. For drinks, it is basically scanning on the code and ordering it via online and for food, you would que up near the counter.
Plenty of choices for those who love Padang food. You may put all your food on a plate or you can also mentioned deliver to my table in which they will place the food that you have chosen on bowls.
It was crowded but everything came in swiftly from the drinks to food. Those working in the restaurant were helpful and receptive to request. For those sweet tooth, there are also variety of cakes to chose.
The ambience is clean and refreshing. I would highly recommend to pay a visit and enjoy the splendid Padang food.
