โ โ โ โ โ An non-airconditioned restaurant that is self service all the way, and provides a wide variety of malay cuisine and desserts (kuih-muih) for breakfast and lunch. The plus side is its wide variety of food choices and easy self service buffet-style serving and the relatively cheap price here. Down side: lack of help with food packing as the self service style backfires on anyone wanting to take-away a large portion (imagine dishing out and tying all the sauces in separate plastics 1 by 1 alone). Staff's lack of proactive attitude makes this flaw more telling. With the self service style, COVID-19 SOP can be hard to observe if there is a crowd, and mostly there is always one. I particularly liked the pulut pagi and pulut inti here as those are my favourite kuihs (but, be early, as the coconut mixed in with the pulut might get sour if left closer to noon as it promotes fermentation by inseparation). The sambal here are not too spicy for me as slightly on the sweeter side (ala-kelantanese taste) and suits me perfectly. Still a recommended place to get kuihs and malay food as this is easily one of the best in this area (Hillpark). Payment is by cash and various other cashless methods like credit card and touch n go. Seats are ample, but come early if u wanna avoid the crowd and need to fight for a spot. Toilet is ok-la ala Malaysian style. Place is otherwise fairly clean.
