★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They came back with a different name and signboard colour ?. Looks brighter and cleaner too.
They are pricey as before, but their dhal is one of the good ones. A good reason to come back.
Before the new name/colour, the staffs were good at avoiding eye contact (no eye contact, no service). Now, it seems that they are improving and no more waving our hands to catch their attention (based on our limited visits recently).

Would like to give some constructive feedback to management :)
As that all the staff apart from the management are to be from Sri Melur.
As a huge fan of Sri Melur would like to point out some differences noticed in the food
Ordered Roti Canai, Tosei Masala, Roti Tisu, Milo Ais, Maggi Goreng to taste test.
The difference
1) Dahl Curry taste a little too bland and sweet compared to Previous and lacks abit of depth in taste
2) The white curry for tosei (not sure what its called) was slightly bland (maybe lacks salt) compared to previous and a little to fresh taste.
3) Roti Canai Texture is amazing and exactly same. But lacked a little salt for the after taste compared to previous.
4) Milo ais is a big no no taste was too watered down compared to previous need to change ratio. This was the most apparent difference.
The Good
1) The roti Canai Consistency and texture and crunch apart from the after taste was exactly same. Kudos 75%
2) Tosei Masala taste and texture is almost identical 95%
3) Maggi Goreng taste the same 100%
4) Roti Tisu taste and texture 100% the same
Will be back to give it another go. Hope this place can see success. Good luck!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A rebranded Sri Melur with new shared management. Other than the roti canai, food taste has gone down the drain. The Maggi goreng & mee goreng mamak was a waste. The chicken curry was bland and fried chickens were over fried. This issues needs to be rectified first before raising your pricing (as usual packed just chicken curry & rice, rather than RM 8 the usual, was charged RM 11). After all these years of patronizing, I'll miss this place as my weekly visit for tea & lepak joint. *Only good point, location with ample parking space

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not your typical mamak. They have michelin restaurant service here. First time getting asked if I need additional dhal before I initiate a request! Great service, great food. Just hope that they didnt add sugar into roti planta (im used to the salty version). So far their dhal is consistently good and thick, keep it up

I ordered some chappatis, roti canai and their ayam goreng. Chappati n roti canai was freshly made. Tasted very similar like previous resturant. It was soft and fluffy. The potato curry and dhal tasted the same.
The fried chicken was crispy n fresh and not re fried like some mamak shop.?
Service was good. Whilst waiting for my ta pau food, i was asked 3 times whether i was served or not.
Hopefully, the service and quality will be maintained. The place was clean n beightly lit. ? Will definetly visit again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time here as passer by. Decided to dine in. Pretty good experience! staff attended me and introduce each dishes (rice section). Very friendly and funny person!
Had their rice + cabbage + mutton curry + teh ais. Taste good! Teh ice is slightly sweet for my tastebuds but it’s all good when the ice melts. Price: RM12.40
Plenty of car parks available.
Has a/c section or just fan section… I sat at the fan section. Although it’s a very sunny day (33 degree Celsius) but it’s not hot for me. Usually I’ll sweat. Maybe because there’s the a/c section which cools down the fan section too.

Roti Planta ❌ (too sweet, too much sugar)
Bihun goreng ❌(tasteless, portion small)
Dhal ✅
Curry ❌(very bland)
Sambal ❌(not fragrant as before, not enough spicy)
Will still come back for the roti canai and dhal.
Hopefully they improve on their other dishes.
