โ โ โ โ โ Truly an average indonesian cusines, bit overpriced for the quality (tough chicken). Not as good as pak amran nasi padang. Total for all those are around RM22 with ais kosong lol.

โ โ โ โ โ Great food. Consistent, quick service. Authentic nasi padang. I recommend the beef rendang, ayam bakar and gulai tunjang. Go early (10am) for fresh batch in time for lunch takeaway.

โ โ โ โ โ one the best (if not the best) padang food in PJ, comfortable and clean place, the rendang, jengkol balado must try, almost feel like home :), parking can be tough during peak hours

โ โ โ โ โ Surprise to see this restaurant here in Malaysia. One of my favourite restaurant when I was in Indonesia. Taste wise is good but not as good as in Jogja. Sambal hijo, beef rendang, gulai nangka very recommended. Lezat!
The staff are helpful, very clean premise. Parking space are limited but there are large parking area nearby.

โ โ โ โ โ It is strange that despite the proximity of Malaysia to Indonesia, it is difficult to find a good Indonesian restaurant in KL. There are quite a few restoran Padang lying around the city, and it is still a hit or miss experience. I knew that Sederhana was going to be good just by looking at the crowds lining up at 2pm. Thankfully I didnโt need to wait very long, and the tables are well managed.
But youโre not coming in for the service really. Youโre coming in for that super savoury rendang thatโs gonna fill you up for the rest of the day, and that sambal thatโs proper savoury that you can eat it by itself or with almost anything under the sun. Padang food is some of the best the continent has to offer. Call me biased, my grandma lived there for a while. Sederhana is a good representation of this heritage.
