Small kopitiam offering noodle soup with pork, you can find kidney, intestine, etc here. - Soup is slightly mild for me, the meat and internal parts are cooked at the right texture. Recommended to those who loves pork.

Been wanting to try this for a while. Its either sold out or its not open for business. Finally tried it on my last visit to JB. This kway teow soup shop has this nostagic feels to it. The soup as you can see, is boiled over charcoal as instead of gas. However, I was a little dissapointed with the food. Probably not returning there.

Some might call this bland. But for true appreciators of soupy noodles, this is amazing. Light and clear broth with just enough sweetness from its ingredients boiled over a consistently hot charcoal fire. It is very very simple food perfectly done with laborious traditional methods of cooking. It is not a very touristy food but I would greatly appreciate it if I could have this as my breakfast every morning ?

Ah Hua Kway Teow has been the signature food in Johor Bahru down town for many decades. Now is the 2nd and 3rd generation running the business. They are famous for their abalone kuey teow soup, they are using Mexico Abalone. To add a slice of abalone is RM26 per pc, they also serving a package of 2 slices abalone with other ingredients at RM48 a bowl. We ordered the RM48, as it was using a special bowl, which is smaller, the soup was only warm but not hot enough for me. The taste of the soup was superb, mainly due to the base was already very nice, even without abalone. It's located inside Restoran Sekee (old kopitiam with nice kopi & half boiled eggs). They are still using charcoal to cook their soup and running the business. Business hour 8am-2pm, the later you go the chances of running out of ingredients. They closed on Friday & Saturday and also alternate Thursday. It's cash only.

Being away from Johor Bahru for a long time, it’s one of the places that I still missed! The quality has been very consistent and I never tired of eating here. I’m glad to see the aunties are still working there after all these years.

Far far too overpriced, be aware. They charge a bowl of noodle by counting how many pieces of selected items to add on to the noodles. For example, I ordered a bowl of noodle and I want liver and kidney and oyster added on. Mine had 3 pieces of liver and 3 pieces of oysters 2 pieces of kidney, they were all very small pieces. and it cost me 27 ringgits for a bowl of noodle soup. Not worth it
