★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Typical ikan bakar style of grilling the fish...flooded with sauce. The sauce over-powered the taste of the fish. They should grill the fish rubbed with salt and tumeric only...served with their special sauce. They did not grill the fish over charcoal open fire...they cook the fish laced with banana leaf on the metalplate. You don't get that char taste...it's ok but you don't get that punch in the cooking. They don't make you crave for their food. Price wise quite reasonable for this type of restaurant.

Sotong goreng tepung and siakap tiga rasa were good. The sotong goreng tepung was perfectly coated - not too much flour.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The service is amazingly fast! Food is nice and most importantly fresh seafoods. Ample parking space around the restaurant.
Tips for dinner: either come here early (before 730pm) or get a reservation for a table. Otherwise you might need to queue for a while, outside.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The fish were still frozen when we chose them therefore they weren’t exactly as fresh as they should’ve been.
Sotong and Siakap 3 rasa were good but nothing remarkable. Pari sambal petai (not pictured) was a little disappointing considering how Kuantan is famous for their sambal petai grilled fish. Sambal was bitter and bland. Petai was raw and used as garnish instead of infused/cooked with the sambal. The dipping sauce for the pari was bland too.
I’d say price was reasonable. 2 pax. RM135 for one big sotong, one siakap and half of a pari—including drinks, rice and veggie. Both fish were very meaty.
