The big pau here is to die for. So fragrant and contains proper filling. Not those weird stuff from factory-made ones. Very limited stock. Only available from 11:30 AM, while stocks last. To avoid disappointment, please call them to reserve your order.

Best local food here. Bao and egg tart serve. Bao sell fast. Batin fish is fresh and we'll cook

Stop over for the 'freshwater fish' lunch meal during our working trip to Kuantan area and like their famous 'Pillow Pou' with several flavour filling, too. Worth trying!

If you live in Kuantan long enough, or often went back to Kuantan during pre-LPT (Lebuhraya Pantai Timur) days.. then there's a big chance that you know about this famous bap place in Seri Jaya, a small town in Maran district which is about 30-40 minutes drive back Kuantan. My dad used to stop here all the time when he brought us back to Kuantan in the past, just to eat and takeaway the famous bao. In fact it's so famous back in the days that they were doing brisk business during school holidays and festive seasons. I, for one, remember this place vividly for nostalgic reason. Now the East Coast Highway had a that bypassed all the towns which I used to pass in the past. So I was heading back to Lipis after saying good bye to my aunt, drove all the way to Gambang and stopped at the traffic light. Turning right would get me into the highway and I had this light bulb moment which prompted me to drive straight into the old Gambang town and not long after that I reached Seri Jaya. Sin Tong Kok was packed with patrons and takeaways crowds. It is not uncommon to see people buying tens of the famous pillow bao for takeaways. Even my mom would buy those bao (and other dim sum), stuffed them in a carton box and went back home. ◾pillow bao (or zham tau bao) - their signature bao where you can choose many flavours..I went for their red bean and peanut flavour. ◾traditional char siew bao - the taste didn't change since they started the business ◾Other dim sums such as siew mai and stuffed beancurd ◾Fried rice ◾Braised bittergourd with pork belly ◾Stir fried vegetable We were very full by the time the lunch was over and continued our journey back to Lipis. Not sure when I will be back to Kuantan again but if I ever go back, I will definitely drop by this little unknown town again. Anyone knows about this place?

Ordered the fried noodles, buttermilk chicken and vegetables. The hokkien mee was well fried while the rest was average. Egg tarts are good. The much reviewed dumplings (pao) was not available as the owner said they were taking a break that day (break days are on their discretion so depends on your luck) If you're particular: No air-conditioning, toilet wasn't clean and some house flies around the tarts.

Me and my friend stop at this restaurant because her car broke down. We took some local tarts which is ok with me but of course you can't compare with Kuala lumpur. Over all the people here are nice.

Very nice Chinese restaurant in Sri Jaya. However the famous pau was already sold out at 1.30pm. Most of the people reserved their orders. Waiter is very friendly. Typical chinese food served here. The fried dry noodle (炒干面) is nice. Fried kuey teow (干炒河) is oily but taste is good.

Good stop over for meals and prices are posted clearly. Delicious Steam patin fish at RM30 and fried rice has good wok smell as well as the fried beehoon
