★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bit worried that there would be a crowd , it being Sunday and lunch time, surprisingly easy to get a table for the 8 of us. Service was quite prompt and we ordered dishes for both rice and noodle eaters. Duck, roast pork and barbecued pork, with fried taufoo and spinach and a pork belly, stomach soup. The standard was good for most of the dishes but pricing was on the high side, RM 200+ for 8 pax for basic food , portions for the roast pork and barbecued pork were small. Probably better to order individual meals . But good if you have a big budget to spend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was around the area and decided to try the roast duck. Took away one duck.
The good - like the ‘charcoal’ flavour. It was seasoned well and nice eaten on its own without gravy.
The bad - every bite I took tasted gritty and tasted like sand. Almost cracked my teeth fillings. I thought they were rock salt but not. Took a close up picture to see. They definitely look like sand.
Soon Lok Owner - please clean and wash your ducks. Your duck almost broke my teeth.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I need to admit the roasted duck here is not good. There is many other shops tht offer much better duck. It is tough, dry, and boney. Cost wise...it is average and i think still ok. One surprise is the claypot pork tendon 猪筋煲。The texture is something between chewy and crunchy. It taste well with the kong pao dried chillies. Highly recommended. The bitter gour is also surprizingly good. The pork in it is smooth and melt in the mouth. Anyway, i cant give higher rate becoz its signature roasted duck is a disappointment.

With the strong air cond, it makes the dining more comfortable.
Roasted chicken is delicious, roasted pork a bit too fat. Skin is quite crispy.
