★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had the Zhejiang pork ribs, sweet and sour pork, vegetable, a soup. The ribs were excellent. Food was inexpensive, with our meal coming to 137 ringgit.
But the reason I wouldn’t return is the swarming flies! We were swatting flies and unable to truly enjoy our meal. The lady boss was also less friendly than the one at Restoran Chua Kee.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Serving very slow...lady boss donno how to recommend food, kept telling us to see the menu ourselves...food are too sweet...not to our preference...crab was ok..too small..only 400g n thats the biggest. River prawn not bad n is selling RM12/100g. Will go to Chua the next time...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This used to be the restaurant I went to when I did not feel like jostling with the crowds at the nearby Tian Lai and Chua Kee but my recent visit here ended up with some disappointment.
The 东波肉 that they served could almost melt in the mouth last time but this time round they were so tough that my jaws were aching after the dinner!
I hope this was a one off drop in the standard. If I am delighted by better cooking in the next visit, I would like to bring up the rating.

Suspect they load the MSG a fair bit as our palate was quite overwhelmed by it

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very reasonably priced food for the quality. Talented Chef, the kitchen was sparsely manned so waiting time for food can be Long. We enjoyed the curry fish head, 4 heavenly kings and fried pumpkin and salted egg calamari a lot. Crabs are slight overcooked.
