★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The baan mi has the right consistency, the sayor manis accompanies it perfectly. The meat balls are delicious. To top it off, the first bite of the chive suigow releases a burst of fine taste. Finest suigow in Ipoh, and perhaps, in Malaysia. Ambience? Low. There was a big Toilet sign staring in my face. But who cares? A future Michelin star status!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A traditional village coffee shop evolving from a new village setting to a small township setting. If you like village hawker food, this is the place. The Char kuih teow was a bit wet, the Wan Tan mee is OK. The tea and other drinks were great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Must try the stir fried hor fun in egg gravy. Very tasty. I believe their other noodle like Hokkien noodle, Singapore fried meehoon, braised yeemee and etc should be good too because many locals come to pack.
However the stall next to them. The wanton and charsiew noodle stall not nice. They put soya sauce only and not the charsiew sauce in the noodles.
The coffee and teh is very good. We like it sweet and kaw. It's a small Chinese coffee shop in a small town. The shop is dirty and old. We have no other places to go in this small town in Simpang Pulai and it nearest to the toll plaza.
