Very well established restaurant at GotongJaya, Genting Highlands. This eatery have been serving great meals to customers over the last four decades! They specialise in freshly prepared Chinese cuisine. Kitchen is managed by team of local Chinese chefs, which makes a lot of difference in terms of food quality. Star of the menu is giant fresh water prawns with glass noodles. Petai fried rice, steamed fish (marble gobi) and their in-house freshly made fish cakes are also very good. Dining area is part indoor and part alfresco. Comfortable place too for a pint or two.

The river prawn tang Hoon is really tasty. The Pak so gong is excellent. Always my favorite place to come when I'm around.

My regular go to place in Gohtong Jaya for a dose of delicious claypot prawn vermicelli. Reasonable price with exceptional taste, way better than anything else in Genting.

Note: 1) not halal 2) opens at 11.30am and tables will be full very fast 3) parking at road side, will be limited 4) outdoor seating to enjoy fresh air This restaurant is situated in a row of shops, mostly restaurants at Gohtong Jaya. But even with competition nearby, you can easily see this restaurant is a popular joint. Opens at 11.30am you can see the tables filled up very quickly! They have quite an extensive menu. We tried their signature fresh prawns glass noodles cooked in rice wine, served on a piping hot claypot. Rm55 for one fresh prawn and rm110 for two if you like. The soup is absolutely lovely in the cold weather. We also ordered XO Fried Rice (nothing to shout about) and the veggie was very fresh, cooked full of flavour. Overall good value, i dont think prices are sky high but good to clarify before ordering. Service is very good and they can easily answer your questions.

Lala soup was good. Just the right amount of spiciness to add on the fresh lala. Fried pork belly was great as well. Relatively less ppl compared to nearer joint. Price reasonable.

Highly recommended for a meal before or after visiting Genting Highlands and it's nearby tourist attractions ?? Offers great and pretty "authentic" Chinese dishes. Didn't get to try many dishes as there's only 3pax dining in. Would definitely come back again to try more "Chef Recommended" dishes.
