Nonetheless, I had the worst mapo tofu here (麻婆豆腐）
Not ma (麻) or la (辣）enough
Plain and tasteless, not even a tinge of saltiness or sweetness other than the bit of ma and la
I voiced out my concern and was asked to add on soy sauce instead which I think is a humiliation to the dish
Don't even bother to taste their own cooking, directly put the blame on me for not able to appreciate hunan dishes
Utterly disappointed with the dish
Female boss is very friendly
Price definitely on the higher end
手撕包菜 is okay (much better than the mapo tofu)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The taste is not bad, quite authentic but the portion is too small for the price, stir fried beef become minced beef ,the pickle vege fish taste is nice but the fish not so fresh (depends on your luck ),fried large intestine the portion is small !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best Hunan restaurant in Ipoh...love the Lat Chee Kai...meat not too hard compared with others. And fragrance fr the Chinese Jalapeño chilli. Prices reasonable compared with KL. The Sui Choo Yue also delicious & not so oily. Will definitely come back again...
