★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Rubber Industry Smallholders Development Authority (RISDA) is a federal statutory authority under the KKLW federal ministry, Kementerian Kemajuan Luarbandar & Wilayah (Ministry of Rural & Regional Development), which was established on 1ˢᵗ January 1973 in accordance with the Progressive Development Act - Rubber Industry Smallholders 1972, with the mission to administer, manage and also to develop a progressive and prosperous rubber plantation smallholder community and commercial activities through proper planning and strategic implementation of all research and reforms in the smallholder sector.
