β β β β β Roti canai was excellent as expected from a place that specialises in making roti canai. The lontong was superb as well. Could taste the Santan and knew that they weren't watering it down.
Would suggest foodies to come here before 7.30 am as the line gets pretty long beyond 7.30 am. There's no shade for people standing in line as well.
All in all, this is a good place to come for breakfast. Don't skip it if you are ever in Melaka.

β β β β β Pleasantly surprised by the popularity of this place. Good things come to those who wait, so if you decide to check out this place, be ready to queue. Was here on a Tuesday morning, arriving at 8am and the shop is already super busy, we waited in line for about 25 minutes.
Table are assigned in an orderly manner, the boss will take your order immediately after you past the temperature scan and show your proof of vaccination. Payment are done up front as well, as far as I can recall it is cash only.
Ordered Roti Doll which is Roti Canai Banjir topped with 2 sunny side up eggs. It was perfect! I'll say it's a must try. Their Nasi Lemak were equally impressive, we ordered Nasi Lemak with Sambal Kerang (Cockles), it was awesome as well. Which explains the popularity.
Come ready to wait, leave happy. Without doubt, we will be back again in the future when we are in town.

The loooong Q, 2 hours of waiting, etc. If you want to go there during holidays; perform subuh prayer at nearby masjid or musollah, do not bathe, arrive before 7 (6:30 better), park at the roadside if arrive later. The food selections are good. The signature dish of roti canai kayu arang especially roti dool. They use charcoal instead of gas burner as seen in photo.

β β β β β Well worth the wait in the queue. It's recommended to come as early as 7am as the queue would snake around the parking area and you don't want to get caught in the heat of the late morning sun. If you're caught at the car wash, then its a 40 minutes wait. The roti canai is not oily, and the sambal is slightly on the sweet side. Soto is not the spicy kind, akind to the soto style of Kedah and Perlis. good value for money. Variety on the menu would cater to all taste and palate. Try the fried cucur, freshly made each time.

β β β β β The Queue system need to be improve! Cause customer is Q under hot sun. People only start to order in the cashier, and most people doesn't know what to eat and stare at the menu for 5 minutes each. They should gives pen and paper for the customer to write down the item they want to order....
Food is good, beverages is normal, staff is very friendly.

This is a must try eating place. A bit crowded tho.
Clean. And cozy. Taste is good. Price is cheap. Toilet is clean. Waiting time What else is there more important kan?

β β β β β Long queue but worth all the wait. Roti canai crispy on the outside & soft inside. Roti sardine is one of the best we ever tasted and owner not stingy on the sardine. Coconut pancake taste nostalgic and yummy. Amazingly place donβt smell like smoke house. Will come back.
