★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ambiance is so good! The food is overrated. Curry not taste curry at all. Naan/roti tempayan is too small in size compared to other places. Tandoori not taste spice at all. Disappointed

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Roti Tempayan or Nan, normally will be served in Mamak Restaurant. But in Kota Bharu town, there is a famous Roti Tempayan Restaurant. Only a few dishes offered in their menu. You can try all and you will smile with the delicious of the food served. Yummylicious.
I love their Roti Tempayan Cheese. Soft bread full with cheese. The curry... you can choose from the menu.. they offered... Minced meat curry, lamb curry and chicken curry.
Although the restaurant is quite big and spacious parking place, but it will be so crowded during weekend and public holiday, do you have to plan well to dine in here. You can make an early booking.

Roti naan
Usual naan. More of a malay recipe. Dont expect it will taste like pakistani or mamak restaurant
Tandoori chicken
Badly prepared. My tandoori chicken smells like it's about to go bad. Like it was exposed outside for too long. Tasted far from from pakistani or mamak restaurant. I would say it doesnt taste authentic tandoor cooking. The chicken however looks been marinated thoroughly and cooked pretty decent...but the taste though..... Erghh
Nasi Lemak
My wife said the sambal is too salty. I dont have the appetite to try any other dishes after that chicken tandoori....
Please... Please.... Please... Check your quality control... If the chicken really gone bad, it might give people disease or sickness... Might come back here like never...
The places provide ample parking spaces, clean and facilities looks good. And well maintained. Fast waiter to accompany to your assisstance.

The curry tasted good. Not great but good.
The lamb chop also tasted good. It came with coleslaw and fries.
However, the price was too expensive. Rm 12 for lamb chop full of bones.
Rm6 for a small bowl (more like a saucer) of mutton curry.
And The place is bustling with cars.. you should also come right after maghrib prayer between 7.40 to 8.00 to avoid crowd
So, this is the place if you want a change of menu..or as late supper.. but, not for dinner...
