โ โ โ โ โ makanan kurang memuaskan tak sepadan dgn harga...agak kecewa....boleh diperbaiki lagi... tapi view nya cantik terbaik?
 unsatisfactory food doesn't match the price ... a bit disappointed .... can be improved again ... but the view is pretty best?

โ โ โ โ โ Harga kurang padan dengan makanan. Tempat cantik tetapi makanan kurang sedap dan tidak berbaloi saiz hidangan yang kecil. Kek macam kek lama. Kesian dekat pelanggan yang lain. Harap boleh diperbaiki.
The price is less than the food. Beautiful place but the food is less palatable and not worth the small serving size. The cake is like an old cake. Compassion near other customers. Hope it can be fixed.

โ โ โ โ โ I don't want to say this but THIS IS THE WORST CAFE I'VE BEEN IN ALOR SETAR. Saya tak pernah review kedai makan tapi kali ni saya terpaksa untuk pertimbangan bakal pelanggan pada masa akan datang dan cafe ini sendiri untuk perbaiki mutu dan servis kedai. Pertama sekali saya nak bagitahu pros kedai ni dahulu. (semua ini adalah berdasarkan pengalamam saya makan di kedai ini pada 21/01/2022)
PROS:
1. Suasana kedai sangat cantik. Sangat Instagram worthy untuk sesiapa yang suka mengambil gambar untuk dimuat naik ke media sosial.
2. Staf yang peramah dan mesra. Layanan daripada staf sangat memuaskan. Staf sabar menunggu order pelanggan dan ulang kembali senarai makanan yang dipesan untuk double check.
Okay sekarang saya nak bagitahu cons dia pulak.
CONS:
1. Harga makanan yang ditawarkan adalah tidak berpatutan dengan kualiti masakan dan saiz portion makanan. Nasi Buttermilk Chicken pada harga RM18 tapi portion sikit dan tak capai apa yang makanan berharga RM18 patut capai. Saya dah pernah makan banyak Nasi Buttermilk Chicken dan ini adalah yang paling mahal dan paling sedikit portion. Kuah buttermilk pon sedikit sahaja diletakkan di dalam pinggan. Saya order 7 jenis makanan dan semuanya tak layak dengan harga yang diberi. Lamb steak RM35 tapi bila sampai nampak macam Lamb Steak kedai tepi jalan harga RM15. Pihak cafe perlu perbaiki lagi dari aspek ini.
2. Dining experience yang tidak memuaskan. Dengan harga yang ditawarkan, saya expect untuk dapat dining experience yang berbaloi. Saya makan 6 orang dan total harga adalah RM220. Tapi dining experience tak worth RM220. Meja yang disediakan adalah meja plastik biasa sahaja dan senget menyebabkan pelanggan susah nak makan. 2 meja yang digabungkan tidak rata antara dua meja tersebut. Utensils (sudu, garfu dll) tidak setanding dengan harga makanan. Kerusi pon kerusi plastik sahaja. Duduk di tepi sungai mungkin boleh memberi perasaan yang unik kepada pelanggan kerana ianya lain daripada yang lain tapi pelanggan harus ingat bahawa duduk di tepi sungai ni akan ada bau sungai yang hanyir. Ini boleh mengganggu selera makan pelanggan. Pinggan untuk serve makanan pon pinggan biasa sahaja. Tak setanding dengan harga yang ditawarkan.
3. Air kosong tak free refill. Saya tanya waiter air kosong boleh refill tak dan waiter tersebut cakap ya boleh refill. Saya order 2 gelas air kosong dan refill sekali. Bila sampai bill, air kosong dikira 3 kuantiti. Tadi cakap boleh refill. Lain kali cakap la tak boleh refill. Kena order satu lagi kalau nak tambah air kosong.
4. Kek tidak sedap. Saya order 2 slice kek. Satu slice berharga RM16. Saya order Kek Fererro Rocher (FR) dan White Choc Macadamia (WCM). Kek FR sangat kering. Boleh diharapkan ke rupa kek sahaja yang cantik. Rasa tidak memuaskan. Kek WCM ni lagi teruk. Saya makan tak habis sebab rasa dia macam kelapa tua busuk. Ada rasa masam-masam macam basi. Kek tak rasa fresh and newly baked. Saya taknak buat spekulasi yang salah tapi rasa dan texture kek adalah macam kek yang dah beberapa hari dimasak dan disimpan dalam peti.
Mungkin yang baca review saya ni akan cakap yang saya terlalu particular dan sensitif tetapi dengan harga RM220, saya menjangkakan servis dan kualiti makanan yang lebih baik. Dengan jumlah harga seperti ini, saya boleh dapat kualiti dan servis makanan yang jauh lebih baik di kedai lain. Kawan saya juga ada bawa family dia makan di kedai ini dan benda yang sama dimaklumkan kepada saya. Harga tidak berbaloi dengan apa yang kita dapat. Saya sesungguhnya sangat kecewa dengan pengalaman saya bersama Roudha Cafe ini. Saya datang ke kedai ni untuk menyambut birthday emak saya tapi sangat kecewa dengan apa yang saya dapat. Saya harap pihak Roudha cafe dapat memperbaiki mutu dan kualiti makanan agar dapat terus maju dalam perniagaan F&B ini.
I don't want to say this but THIS IS THE WORST CAFE I'VE BEEN IN ALOR SETAR. I have never reviewed a restaurant but this time I had to consider potential customers in the future and this cafe itself to improve the quality and service of the store. First of all, I want to tell the pros of this shop first. (all this is based on my experience eating at this store on 21/01/2022)
PROS:
1. The atmosphere of the shop is very beautiful. Very Instagram worthy for anyone who likes to take pictures to upload to social media.
2. Friendly and hospitable staff. The service from the staff is very satisfactory. The staff patiently waits for the customer's order and repeats the list of food ordered for a double check.
Okay now I want to tell you the cons.
CONS:
1. The price of the food offered is not affordable with the quality of the cuisine and the size of the food portion. Buttermilk Chicken rice is priced at RM18 but the portion is small and doesn't reach what the RM18 food should achieve. I have eaten a lot of Buttermilk Chicken Rice and this is the most expensive and least portion. A little pound buttermilk gravy is placed on a plate. I ordered 7 types of food and all of them were not worth the price given. Lamb steak RM35 but when it arrives it looks like Lamb Steak from a roadside shop priced at RM15. The cafe needs to improve further from this aspect.
2. Unsatisfactory dining experience. With the price offered, I expect to get a worthwhile dining experience. I ate 6 people and the total price was RM220. But the dining experience is not worth RM220. The table provided is a regular plastic table only and is tilted which makes it difficult for customers to eat. The 2 tables combined are uneven between the two tables. Utensils (spoons, forks etc.) are not comparable to the price of food. Plastic chair pound chair only. Sitting by the river may give a unique feeling to the customer because it is different from the others but the customer should remember that sitting by the river there will be a fishy smell of the river. This can upset the appetite of the customer. Plates to serve pound food are regular plates only. Not comparable to the price offered.
3. Empty water is not free refill. I asked the waiter if the empty water can be refilled and the waiter said yes can refill. I ordered 2 glasses of empty water and refilled once. When it comes to the bill, empty water is counted in 3 quantities. I said I can refill. Next time he says he can't refill. Need to order another if you want to add plain water.
4. The cake is not tasty. I ordered 2 slices of cake. One slice costs RM16. I ordered Fererro Rocher Cake (FR) and White Choc Macadamia (WCM). The FR cake is very dry. Can be expected to look like a beautiful cake only. Unsatisfactory taste. This WCM cake is even worse. I didn't finish eating because it tasted like rotten old coconut. There is a sour taste like stale. The cake does not taste fresh and newly baked. I don't want to speculate wrong, but the taste and texture of the cake is like a cake that has been cooked and stored in a box for a few days.
Maybe those who read my review will say that I am too particular and sensitive but with a price of RM220, I expect better service and food quality. With a total price like this, I can get much better quality and service of food at other stores. My friend also brought his family to eat at this shop and the same thing was informed to me. The price is not worth what we get. I am really very disappointed with my experience with this Roudha Cafe. I came to this store to celebrate my mother's birthday but was very disappointed with what I got. I hope Roudha cafe can improve the quality and quality of food in order to continue to thrive in this F&B business.

โ โ โ โ โ This place recently opened in December 20. Easy to find as the building painted in striking cyan blue. Parking may be hard to find during busy time. It has a nice deco facing the river. Went there for hi tea and food was ok. Service is quite slow, hope it'll improve. They have lots of choices - gonna try more in the future. Lots of istagramable spots here.
