We agreed RM500 in writing, via WhatsApp, with RS Speedy Mover for the removal of some sofas and plants and the moving of a wooden sofa, after showing photos of all the items.
The first problem was that their guys didn't use any plastic for the moving of the sofa, which we had specifically agreed. I saw them bump it a few times on the elevator door. When they got down I made them put plastic on it, and they did a shoddy job of that, just one layer of some clingfilm. Ok, no big deal.
Now, the serious problems happened when the lady at RS Speedy who we agreed the price with changed the price from RM500 to RM750, via WhatsApp, once all the items had been removed, and then threatened to leave everything outside if we didn't pay the higher price. To be clear, we had not asked her to remove a single item more than what we originally agreed.
My wife finally agreed and would have paid but then we saw some damage on the door, which the lady denied (despite having never been to to our home).
So I got involved, about the damage. Then the lady said that if we didn't want her services, she'd move all the stuff back, to which I agreed - I knew there was no way she'd want to move that ton of stuff back, only to get nothing.
Anyway, after several hours of arguing via WhatsApp with the lady, repeated threats, I gave RM500 cash to our security guards and told them to only give them the money once they leave the condo premises.
That worked.
One of her staff later apologised via WhatsApp and in writing for the damage, so admitted he did it. He also apologised, again in writing, for the whole incident, faith in humanity restored, and said that his boss was basically just trying to get as much money out of us as possible. The fact he said this indicates to me that they try this often with customers.

I will give the company service as 5 star for the service they provide to me. The staff done excellent & clean job. The staff was on time n very carefully handle our furniture n boxes.
The staff has carefully shrink wrapped our furniture to avoid any dirty n scratch for the furniture. They also very polite in manner n handle our boxes very care.
I definitely will recommend the company to my family or friends who need a excellent movers to move They house.
Kudos to all the staff for the great job.
