19th century theme cafe serving variety of coffee choices including Indonesians coffee such as famous Luwak coffee. They also serving Indonesians cuisine here. Coffee is okay for me. However the services quite unfriendly.

Came here with my mom several times. Loved it. The atmosphere was cozy. And the barista was so sweet. She even remembered our drink orders. Would totally come again.

The latte is so so. Almost like cappuccino because the foam is so thick. No latte art. While the food taste is typical nothing special. The fried maggi is so oily. Probably the only drink that I enjoyed there is the strawberry lychee frappe. It cured my disappointment.

They have so many kind of coffee drinks including luwak that is priced at RM45/cup. They also have various meals to choose from. Nasi, roti, pisang bakar. Variety! I only tried butter chicken with rice, nutella marshmallow roti bakar, pisang bakar with brown sugar. One cup of cappuccino & one cinnamon coffee. My take: Pisang bakar & roti bakar was okay albeit a bit oily. The butter chicken was salty. Although it tasted better when eat together with chillies. Cinnamon coffee. The cinnamon taste is just slightly so I guess I'm okay with that BUT the coffee is not strong. Milky. I wonder it is was one shot or two of espresso. Cappuccino is just nice. Decorations: I failed to recognize what kind of concept they tried to install. Looks hmmm haywire? I hope they will do something about it. Cafes and coffees have been a hype thing in F&B business in KL. I really hope Kuantan will be at par with KL, Penang and Ipoh whom have more and more cafes everywhere.

Brewed coffees weren’t available during our visit. Tried iced mazagran coffee. Good choice for plain coffee lover with strong taste of coffee. Staff are kind. Service quite fast. Cafe is clean. Recommended for a visit.

Food was reasonably good, however the price does not meet the standards or quality. It costed me RM7+ for a honey butter French toast yet I the food was normal and values at RM4-5 only. The honey provided was not authentic and natural, it’s cheap honey that’s available in stores. For the coffee I ordered a pandan coffee which costed 10.50, it did not have even a slight essence of pandan. Pandan syrup was just used as a topping and not inside of my coffee. Pretty disappointing as I envisioned a pandan flavoured latte but was greeted with a basic latte that should be valued at RM6. In terms of professionalism, I asked for a “shot of sugar” and the waitress brought me coarse brown sugar at first before changing to sugar syrup. Coffee shop staff should understand the basic difference between sugar for hot drinks and cold drinks. As a coffee enthusiast, I wasn’t very pleased with the taste of my coffee as well, the coffee beans did not have a strong aroma to it. I ordered a double shot so I could taste the coffee aroma but all I could taste was it’s bitterness, there was limited flavour and aroma to it. It had a Caustic Harsh taste and fell more towards an alkaline base, something you would not expect from a coffee that costs RM11. But I’m guessing my expectations were to I high. Well you can’t blame me cause the only thing I’d say worth the price was the ambience of the cafe, it raised my expectations and increased my disappointment. Also note that they do not serve manual brew or specialty coffee here, even though I noticed they had the equipment for them. One last note, they did not charge me for the second shot of coffee, which should cost RM2, I will visit them again to pay for that RM2. I have not tasted their lunch (rice/ pasta) menu but through previous reviews it could seem that lunch menu wait time is about 15-25 minutes. I am looking forward to have a go at their pasta. Location wise it is pretty convenient if you’re staying at Veer Hotel as it’s just 2 shop lots down the hotel.

Tried their Rockopi as recommended by the barista. Twas good indeed. Cafe hunting is more like try and error. To reduce your error, don’t hesitate to ask for recommendations, they are more than happy to help y’all. Happy trying peeps!
