β β β β β I've been looking for authentic Sarawak cuisine all over Penang for the past 5 years. This cafe did not even come close to perfection. Why? Bcos they are already more than perfect in serving Sarawak famous Kolo Mee, Sarawak Laksa and more!! The flavour just burst inside your mouth! Flavour is not from MSG or Salt, but the pork itself. Such an amazing taste!!

β β β β β Great place to have a taste of Sarawak. The laksa I had had a little too much santan. Also a bit pricey, but it was a decent meal.

β β β β β A small shop hidden away in Farlim specialising in Sarawak food. Tried the Kolo mee and it was pretty good. The owner claims the red colour used is not food dye but some natural colouring. Also tried the Sarawak laksa and I must say it's very good ... rich and satisfying but... the price is a bit too rich for me; RM12 for the Laksa. For a kopitiam setting, I think that's way too pricey, considering it only has a couple of decent-size prawns for topping. I may go again but will probably order a bowl for 2 persons to share instead. They also have Sarawak lorbak but again, at RM7.50 each, I passed, although the owner said it included some 13 types of vege stuffing. Recommended but expect to pay more. E-wallet payment accepted here.

β β β β β Penang being the haven to delicious street foods, it is easy to bump into common local delights. There are also specialty from other states that also makes an impact to spoil our choices of food here.
This is a must try if you are looking for something from Sarawak
Highlights:
Kolomee - egg noodles. Very similar to local wantanmee but its different
Sarawak laksa - its a different species altogether compares to local asam laksa or laksa lemak.
Red wine mee suah
Fried spring rolls
Overall taste is good in a modest coffee shop located somewhere in the old farlim market

β β β β β Glad to be introduced to this authentic Sarawak shop. Hailed from Miri, Sarawak itβs as good as it gets in Penang. Kolo mee tastes very good reminiscent of the state. Sarawak laksa is spot on although I prefer if the broth is thicker. Yummmmm... ??

β β β β β I'm from Sarawak and working in Penang. Looking for food quite similar to the taste of Sarawak, I think I already found it. I don't really care about the pricing coz I know, authentic Sarawak kolok mee have to order from Sarawak itself. Different factory, different texture and taste. Well, this is my heaven of food. Kolok mee is Recommended! But for the laksa, not so tasty. The broth is not full of flavour, full of herbs.. Just santan like curry noodle, otherwise, okay.

β β β β β Foods are ok, but not exactly authentic. A lot of variety. Must try their dark sugar milk tea and coffee. Parking is a bit of trouble.

β β β β β Sarawakian looking for kolok mee can definitely come here, it is better than Face-to-face kolokmee.
