★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We booked a 12 seater mpv for langkawi family trip today and they sent a mpv which is faulty. We couldn't start the car and they said they would try to fix the mpv on the same night or replace me with another similar capacity. Unfortunately, it did not happen and they even try their luck to put the blame on us so they could make us compensate for the faulty car. In actual fact, we have not even manage to drive off the actual spot it was parked. We called trip.com 24 hour support and were disappointed that there were no recovery backup up plan other than to issue a refund which may take days or weeks. Thoroughly disappointed with the no guarantee booking. What is the point of booking early but to end up with no vehicle on a peak season and we were stranded with old folks and young children of 12. AVOID THIS COMPANY.... and they are tied to trip.com.... so if you don't wanna run the risk of getting con.... u should avoid booking for langkawi car rental with trip.com or worst direct with them.... their staffs and bosses are hooligans! Very rude and speak like some local mafias!
