★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A place owned by seasoned celebrity tv broadcast journalist Suhaimi Sulaiman with menu filled with recipes selected by the man himself. Good food with a cosy atmosphere for small group dining. Also a cute boutique of batik apparels is attached snugly nextdoor to the restaurant. A dormitory like accomodation is also available here

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love the ambiance here, it's cozy with racks of books to read from. The menu seems interesting with various f&b fusions. I tried the sambal hitam pasta, felt is was ok but it was a bit greasy. The meatball & mash potato has awesome gravy & i love the drinks. Price wise, it was not so bad.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A hidden gem with quality food and friendly crew. The cafe serves fusion food with a unique twist. For example, Pasta Sambal Hitam (a signature sambal originating from Pahang) that I had was amazing. Never thought that a pasta and sambal hitam combo would be this good.
The atmosphere is relaxing with soft music playing in the background. There's free water available if you need to quench thirst and plenty of books to read.
I spent around 3 hours here with friends, chatting and a bit of light work on tablet. It is that cosy.
Will definitely come again whenever I visit Malacca.
